Since its foundation in the 60's, the Kroll company has continuously developed. What has remained the same over all these years: Our high quality standards! Our story begins as a small, Swabian heating engineer in Burgstall just outside Stuttgart.
The development of the old oil furnace was the answer to the question of how to recycle the residual oil from automotive workshops in the most efficient way.
2 years after the foundation we could already celebrate our 700th old oil furnaces. This is partly due to the density of workshops in the automotive city of Stuttgart, but also to the efficiency of our ovens.
Thanks to the rapid success, the move to a larger production hall to Kirchberg an der Murr followed.
To ensure the high standards and the growing demand for our ovens, an in-house sheet metal technology is launched.
7 years after the move, the production area in Kirchberg is doubled in size in order to catch up with the success of our products and increase production capa
With the expansion of the production area, our anniversary of the 25,000th Altölofen sold follows just 2 years later!
Almost 20 years after its foundation, Edmund Kroll takes over the company from Walter Kroll and thus leads the company into the second generation.
Our continued success and growth enabled us to take over the neighboring company Kellner in order to secure jobs in the region.
At the start of the new century, Kroll GmbH is sold to two shareholder-managers, Alfred Schmid and Peter Scheuer.
Under the new shareholders, a full condensing boiler is being developed as a complement to the old oil stoves, covering the growing demands in the areas of environmental protection, energy efficiency and sustainability.
50 years of innovative heating solutions, customised sheet metal technology and, above all, a 50-year journey with outstanding employees fill us with great pride.
Riva takes over Kroll GmbH as sole shareholder and divides it into two companies: The Sheet metal engineering continues to use the name Kroll GmbH, while the heating construction business henceforth operates under the name Kroll Energy GmbH.
Dr Alexander Ramm takes over the management of Kroll Energy GmbH.
Kroll Energy GmbH remains true to its roots and continues to break new ground in the heating industry after more than 50 years. With the MWK40, the first mobile heat pump with an operating range of -10°C to +40°C and heating and cooling functions is developed!
